Avon Mega Effects Mascara – Ouch, It Looks Painful

Just when you write Avon off for being boring and predictable…

They design the first mascara ever that needs a step-by-step tutorial. I mean, when was the last time you needed instructions to use a tube of mascara?

Mega Effects will be the newest addition to Avon’s mascara lineup. And it’s claim to fame: Panoramic Lashes! It’s set to arrive in July so be sure to check in with your local Avon representative.

I’ve had good experiences with a few Avon mascaras. So there’s no doubt that I’m going to check it out. Besides, I’m a mascara hoarder. I never need an excuse to try out a new one {ever!}.

Some maybe taken back by the look of the mascara because it looks like a torture device. In fact, it looks like a shaver. It also appears huge. So I can imagine it will be a pain to store and travel with. Sorry Avon, will have to deduct points for that.

What about you? Would you try Avon’s latest eyelash device {I mean mascara, lol}? Be sure to let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

Oh my! I get avon products all the time and I love them! I haven’t seen this product to buy yet in the UK. I really hope us brits get a chance to try it :)

From the video I’m not completely sold on how it would work better than a regular mascara (other than the long bristles on the applicator) but I love new stuff so I would give it a try!

That does look painful. If it has a tutorial for it that doesn’t involve how to make the perfect brow or making my lips pop, I’m going to have to pass, lol. It’s just mascara.
